Native to El Salvador, Steady Rollin’ are the rock band you need to listen to this year. They have just released their video to their latest single, “Impossible”, the long-overdue return to the powerful combination of blues, rock and story-telling lyrics which characterized such musical behemoths as Led Zeppelin and Cream.
Taken from their forthcoming album, Love & Loss, “Impossible” follows on from the hugely popular track “When the Judgement Comes” and its super-charged dance remix courtesy of Elyse Rich, set a course from 80s synth pop to modern flourishes of stomping delight, all wrapped around the pounding, relentless rock of Steady Rollin’. Love & Loss is the first full release from Steady Rollin’, 10 tracks which tell love-related stories from lead singer Fernando’s real-life experiences to a musical backing which twists between emotional blues, agile, sinuous rock and a squall of alternative power.
The rock band, comprising Benjamin Andrade (brand ambassador for Yamaha drums) on drums and backing vocals, Gerardo Pardoon bass and Fernando Poma(known best as hugely influential businessman, Managing Director of the largest hotel operators in Latin-American, Real Hotels and Resorts and director at Grupo Poma, champion of El Salvadorian music scene) on guitar and lead vocals, have already captured the hearts of minds of audiences across their native El Salvador and South America and now look to spread their message to the rest of the world.
