Happy Fresh Hit Radar Friday! It’s time for yet another instalment of the best tracks we’ve heard all week.

It was a huge week for the Pop Playlister team as we smashed past the 1,000 follower mark on Twitter. Thank you for your continued support and enjoyment of the Pop Playlister platform!

Don’t forget you can see the full playlist HERE.

Kicking off this week’s list is Kehina with latest single All Over Again. A soulful masterpiece that sets her out as one of the most exciting talents emerging onto the UK R&B scene. With ethereal vocals, bright guitars and a rolling beat this track is pure, sultry R&B excellence. Kehina is a London based singer-songwriter brimming with talent, potential and prowess. We can’t wait to see what she does next.

Next up it’s Trio Minutes with track Motion Part 2. Trio Minutes is composed of three incredibly talented British sisters and self confessed ‘genre benders’. Blending together Pop, R&B, Electro to name a few with a nostalgic feel to their sound that’s reminiscent of the 80s and 90s. Motion Part 2 is a grooving track from the trio, full of gentle harmonies and catchy hooks, with an effortlessly smooth style that seems to come naturally to the sisters. Trio Minutes are a must have on your next up radar.

Daviies also makes it onto our Fresh Hit playlist with track Your Style. A Nigerian born artist whose Afro-American Rap fusion is truly unique. Your Style is a feel good, commercial track that demonstrates Daviies huge potential for success. A strong introduction to the artist for the Pop Playlister team, and a track that will have you missing summer already.

Slowing it down with Sugar Parks’ Misunderstood. An LA based singer-songwriter whose indie rock inspired sound is a pleasure to listen to. With bluesy undertones and a noir pop feel, Sugar Parks is a stand out artist in the world of indie. Misunderstood is a sultry track from the rising star, featuring gritty guitars and Sugar Parks’ powerful vocals. A subtly dark track from Sugar Parks that firmly places them on our ones to watch for 2020.

The final addition to this week’s Fresh Hit Radar playlist is the talented Myla Valentina. An English singer-songwriter whose dark pop tracks are full of ambient melodies and cinematic instrumentals. Freedom is a sultry song from the young Myla, bringing a strange sense of intensity and haunting to the typical happy go lucky Pop genre. With an EP due this year this is clearly lots more to come from the talented Myla Valetina.

Happy Listening!
