First up we have the mysterious rockers ‘Nearly Skulls’ with ‘Be Better’ from their new album ‘Bucket Listing’. Nobody knows the voices behind the Manchester based group who let their music do the talking and their track ‘Be Better’ is no different. Showing a softer side to their sound, this tracks gentle rock acoustics and smooth vocals make it a must listen.
‘Kids of Summer’ by Monotronic is the psychedelic, electro-pop sound you need on your playlist. With thought-provoking lyrics, hazy vocals and catchy choruses this is the edgy, aesthetic soundtrack to your summer.
Next up we have the enchanting new single ‘Lucid’ by Rich. This tracks laid-back beats and smooth, dreamy vocals make it incredibly easy on the ears and a must add for your chill out playlist.
This weeks addition for fans of atmospheric, alternative indie pop is ‘Girls in Red’ by AVIV. Hailing from Toronto Canada, AVIV discovered a love for writing and producing songs at a young age, developing her into the musician she is today. Perfect for fans of Phoebe Bridgers, Soccer Mommy and Sofia Mills, AVIV’s soft vocals, vulnerable and gentle acoustics are sure to draw you in.
Another favourite track of the week is Jack Kessell’s new single ‘Sunset’. This track puts a refreshing, positive spin on a breakup with light at the end of the tunnel lyrics ideal to get you through those difficult times.
Last but by no means least we have ‘Tales In Space’ with their electro-indie track ‘Universe’. This catchy laid-back hit oozes road trip vibes with catchy hooks and atmospheric vocals, sounding as if it’s come straight from a coming of age movie soundtrack.
