Jessica Victoria is not your conventional harpist. Born in New Mexico and bred in Albuquerque, Jessica explores both her classical training and singer-songwriter credentials in her new album, Songs of the Summer Real, which takes the listener through a musical journey from Celtic folk to rock and pop.
Intrigued? Jessica’s album will be available to stream on major platforms from 15th May and if you can’t wait until then it is now available to buy on her website, as a deluxe version with two hidden tracks – https://jessicavictoria.com/songs-of-the-summer-realm/
Award winning musician, Dr. Jessica Victoria has performed for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and with orchestras in the United States, Europe and South America. However, with ancestral links to Celtic regions around the world, Jessica’s fascination with both the music and literature from these areas permeates her music in this album with Jessica herself saying “This is the first album on which I’m following my passion for song-writing and mythic history.”
With some exciting celtic collaborations in the album including Lorne MacDougall of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, we can’t wait to be taken through the musical journey that Jessica has prepared for us with this album.
