Born and bred in Rutland, UK, Teddy Lewis and Alex Rush are Centre Excuse, the nations’ natural successors to Depeche Mode. With 80s synth like sounds, high energy live shows (back when we could go to gigs that is) and ferocious guitars, Centre Excuse bring us the music video to their new single ‘Joy Joy Joy’.

The new single precedes their debut album ‘Favourite Soul’ which was fuelled by the frustration Teddy felt when relocating to London, the distance from his friends and family and that all-too familiar feeling of life becoming overwhelming.

Initially starting out on the music scene in their teens having known each other since they were 8, Centre Excuse are hoping that 2020 will be their year with the release of their album in July and the hope that later this year they will be able to perform live again for fans.
