Justin Bieber filed a $20 million lawsuit over tweets from two twitter accounts that accused him of sexual assault. Bieber says he has evidence the claims are impossible. A user claimed Bieber sexually assaulted her in the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas in 2014. Bieber responded he never stayed at this hotel, and has multiple witnesses (including ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez) and documentary evidence to support his innocence. Bieber, now 26, was discovered at age 13 and has become one of the world’s most popular and successful musicians.

Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.

Bieber’s attorney Martin Singer wrote: “The malicious statements made by ‘Danielle’ and ‘Kadi’ (who may be the same person under two accounts) are absolutely false, and their respective heinous accusations that Bieber engaged in the alleged sexual assaults are outrageous, fabricated lies”. It is thought the accusations stem from a desire for “fame and attention”.

The lawsuit includes detailed hotel receipts, emails and news reports to prove that Bieber was not staying at the hotel in Austin where the accusation happened.
