A venue whose stage has graced the legends Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Joni Mitchell and more, London’s Troubadour has a history more exceptional than most.

Showcasing his latest album ‘From Now On’, Jonathan Cilia Faro made full use of the venue’s intimate layout, with every corner filled by perfected tenor vocals. Supported by MightyBoy on the keyboard, Jonathan’s performance demonstrated a fusion of opera and pop to accomplish a modern variant to a classical opera performance.

Accompanied by support acts Tony Moore and ILONA, Jonathan’s night was a celebration of genre, comedy and astounding vocal range. Songs such as ‘I Love How You Love Me‘ and ‘Giaramondo‘ were specific highlights for Jonathan, receiving much applause from the audience.

It was clear from the outset of the performance that Jonathan was honoured to be playing at such a renowned venue, citing Jimi Hendrix as one of the stars who had played on this stage before him. Overall, a night of culture, creativity and good spirits.
