His daughter, overwhelmed by the endless ice cream choices, asked, “What flavour?” That innocent question quickly turned into a spontaneous singalong. “As the song unfolds, it shifts from playful indecision to the agony of craving what someone else has,” Evans explains. “At the time, we were deep into disco and 99 Records bands, so everything came out upside down.
