London based electro-pop band are back with their third studio album, ‘Monsters’. Following the success of their previous albums ‘Losing Touch’ and ‘Safe from Harm’ in 2017, founding members Isaac Howlett (vocals / songwriting) and Adam Relf (composition / production) have built on their modern synth pop sound for this new album.

Unlike their previous albums, ‘Monsters’ includes the considerable talents of performing members Christina Lopez (drums) and Oliver Marson (synths) to create a rawer, more organic sound that they hope will enthuse their loyal fans and win over some new ones at the same time.

And this new combination has already won the press over with rave reviews from the likes of Metro, Line of Best Fit, Clash, Earmilk, Louder Than War and PopMatters for the first single from the album of the same name ‘Monsters’. PopMatters describes the new single as Absolutely enormous. Driven by thundering drums and layers of clean, analogue synths, the band somehow sounds both thrillingly expansive and unnervingly claustrophobic” – see for yourself here:

We are absolutely loving the new sound from the band and can’t wait to hear the rest of the album when it launches later this week. For more updates on new music and general lockdown life in the world of Empathy Test give them a follow on social below..
