Roy (vocals), Tim (lead guitar), John (rhythm guitar), Vince (bass) and Mike (drums) make up ‘The Shed Project’ and as I’m sure you can guess from their name, they began writing and mixing tunes from scratch, all from a shed. Their new single ‘Lucky Number’ oozes classic soft rock with smooth vocals, dynamic choruses and atmospheric riffs, all set to a gentle, toe tapping beat.

Bolton based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist James Holt blends catchy hooks and captivating vocals into a unique mix of classic rock and blues with his new single ‘Pendulum’. His music has already landed him performances at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Deaf Institute with his live performances turning heads and proving a show not to be missed.

PICNIC hail from the North East and like to blend an impressive range of genres into their sound including pop, funk, indie and jazz. Their new single ‘I Need Everybody’ is the ultimate feel good summer hit with catchy indie hooks, sing-a-long lyrics and even a touch of saxophone. We could see this one going down a treat at a live show or festival and having already landed support slots with the likes of Fickle Friends, we’re sure this isn’t the last you’ll hear of PICNIC.

The mysterious ‘Nearly Skulls’ believe in real rock music and are fiercely protective over their identities, leading to huge speculation among fans. Their new track ‘American Rules’ features lyrics questioning the logic behind the train wreck that is American politics and the impact it has on the world. Their message is supported by punchy riffs, classic rock hooks and an equally political music video. This exciting rock and roll track builds great exceptions for what is to come in their upcoming album ‘Bucket Listing’, set to be released on July 30th.

Lauran Hibberd brings an effortlessly cool energy to her music and the stage, delivering classic pop hits with a hint of indie rock. Her new single ‘Old Nudes’ is no different and we especially loved the stripped back version due to it’s laid back acoustics and Lauran’s soft yet powerful vocals. I saw Lauran live last year and can confirm that her and her live band deliver a performance not to be missed that never fails to get a crowd going.

Finally, Bloxx came together after singer/songwriter Fee Booth, bassist Paul Rau and their old college friend and lead guitarist Taz Sidhu followed the dream of many and formed a band and built their own career, rather than just squeezing in shifts at their local Wetherspoons around studies. Since then, Bloxx have toured the UK and the US and have found themselves platformed to success, even in the early stages of their career. It’s easy to see why with their new single ‘Lie Out Loud’ from their Ep ‘Thinking About Yourself’. Their pop punk vocals reminiscent of Hayley Williams and punchy beats that just make you want to get up and dance mean that this track is sure to be a crowd pleaser at a live show.
