Having developed a passion for music from a young age in his home-town of Adelaide, Australia, Josh Kroehn is ready to show the world his talent with his new single ‘Never Found’. Initially being drawn to the guitar from listening to idols such as James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica, and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Josh has now refined his genre to a more chilled vibe similar to the likes of Ben Howard and Nick Drake.
His first single ‘Processed Life’ and subsequent EP, which was released in Australia was a roaring success with the likes of Buzz Mag describing it as “incredibly expressive lyrics and delicious melodies, plus a musical build-up that intensifies superbly”. So, we are expecting big things from the Adelaide-based singer songwriter as he prepares to expand his fanbase overseas.
“Something I’ve found has made me say goodbye to my processed life.”
These lyrics from Josh Kroehn’s previous single, ‘Processed Life’, shed light on the drive and motivation of an artist who has followed a dream to pursue a life as a singer-songwriter. Having first picked up the guitar aged 9, Josh is now a master of the instrument with unusual guitar tunings and a fingerstyle technique which leaves listeners bewildered that he is playing solo.
With honest lyrics, Josh’s music is written about life, and one thing that you can be assured of is that the music will always come straight from the heart and be uniquely authentic. We can’t wait for the release of his new single and the forthcoming debut album and wish Josh the best of luck as he looks for success internationally.
