Update Your Playlist with John Fishell’s We’ve Got a Live One
John Fishell has just released We’ve Got a Live One, an energetic 45-minute live-recorded set of his original music, featuring two covers.
To add a unique twist to the album, John has exploited synchronised backing tracks from studio recordings (all played by himself!) which lend a huge, larger-than-life sound usually heard from well-known bands.
The album contains several songs that the public has yet to hear in a studio version, such as Here’s Looking at You and God Save the Queen. His music is sure to please fans of Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Who, and even those who love the 70s, 80s, and 90s rock.
The live session wouldn’t have been a complete experience without drummer Brian McRae and bassist Mario Pagliarulo, providing John with a solid and explosive platform to deliver a thrilling and heartfelt performance. But what really make the album stand out are its unexpected highlights, such as a dance version of AC/DC’s Hell’s Bell a Rush-like song midsection in Here’s Looking at You, and a radio-friendly Pushing and Pulling.
