Tim O’Brien, the esteemed multi Grammy award-winning country music star, will soon be enchanting audiences at the Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith with two exclusive acoustic performances. Alongside him will be a lineup of highly acclaimed musicians, including his wife Jan Fabricius, virtuosos Seamie O’Dowd and Dermot Byrne. Known for his signature fusion of American folk, bluegrass, blues, and Celtic influences, O’Brien has been captivating audiences worldwide for over fifty years. His impressive repertoire includes beloved albums such as Red on Blonde, Fiddler’s Green (which won him a Grammy), and The Crossing.
O’Brien has also collaborated with legendary artists like Mark Knopfler and Steve Earle, and his original compositions have been recorded by the likes of Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks. Joining O’Brien on stage will be his talented wife Jan Fabricius, an accomplished mandolinist and singer whose harmonies and songwriting skills have played a crucial role in O’Brien’s recent albums, He Walked On and Cup of Sugar. Their performances promise to weave a rich tapestry of heartfelt storytelling and intricate musicality.
Adding an authentic Irish flair to the evening will be two renowned traditional musicians, Seamie O’Dowd and Dermot Byrne.
