Big praise indeed we hear you cry name checking two of the top females in music when referring to Vina Rose , but let me tell you she has all the credentials to take on the big hitters and has a proven track record in Italy of BIG, BIG , BIG success so , who is she and why should you care? As one of Italy’s most recognisable stars on Italian television, singer; actress and performer, Vina Rose made the difficult decision to make the UK her new home but that decision looks to have given her the platform to wow new audiences with her brand-new EP. The aptly-titled, Crossroads, looks to build on the critical acclaim of her 2019 single, Breathe Again, and sees her vocal prowess given tracks that really allow her to shine, from the anthemic Heart of Gold to the dark and brooding dance-inflected title track which sees her reflecting on the momentous decision she made to relocate at the height of her career.

I have to say maybe using Emeli Sande as an example may even be doing Miss Vina as disservice as probably E.S’s bus has already left the station given that we think her peak was the performance at the Olympics back in London all those years ago , so plenty of space for Vina to fill her boots in the UK., especially as the media , not just us are tipping her.

“Breathe Again is an honest, deeply human, yet energising release, likely to make waves throughout 2019…the song makes for a bold and beautiful introduction to an artist with a clear love for and dedication to her craft” Stereo Stickman

“An Unforgettable pop banger!” Celeb Mix

“Beautifully atmospheric new pop” Music Week Presents

Now before you take your last slurp of your third bottle of Rose’ put your sun glasses back on and let Vina enter your world you will not be disappointed , and that being the case we are just going to finish off with some further information for you coz we know you love to be knowledgeable about your music , therefore, Vina Rose has performed alongside the likes of Italian superstars Andrea Bocelli, Zucchero, Alexia and Giorgia, both across numerous festivals and on television. Similarly, Vina has appeared on TV shows around the world: on the BBC (acting in the production Victoria and Albert -The Royal Wedding) and ITV as well as hugely popular worldwide hits such as Dancing with the Stars and MTV Unplugged. Despite these massive achievements, Vina opted to leave the comforts of her Milanese base and move to London where she could share her talents with a larger, more diverse audience. Vina’s tracks alternate between elegant ballads to EDM pop to soul and rock, incorporating subtleties in each to bring her own unique sound. The track Crossroads reflects on this seismic change in her life which has seen her leave behind a successful career in Italian media to perfect her craft in London.

Vina has worked with musicians including Ralph Salmins (previously drummer and collaborator with the likes of Paul McCartney, George Martin, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Madonna, James Brown, Tom Jones, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross and Burt Bacharach) and Steve Walters, bass player for George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, James Taylor, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart and many others to create a timeless selection of songs which present her as a brutally honest, passionate performer of the highest order.

Born in Catania, Sicily, Vina made her name in Milan, before relocating permanently to London in 2017.

Now that is as much as we know so if you need anything else we cannot help but we do hope we have wetted your appetite as if you hadn’t guess we have a bit of a soft spot for Vina Rose.
